Alert-EDITOR is used for interactive input of a static multi-line text, which can be used as an alert in case of emergency (fire, flooding, bomb alarm, etc.) and displayed in full screen mode immediately.
When entering the “alert text” (henceforth “alert”) it must be also specified how long (in seconds) the alert should be displayed.
Alerts also support the “flash-effect” in order to attract a higher attention. The intensity of flashing can be specified in milliseconds in the input field.
An alert can contain different paragraphs that can be formatted as desired.
However, at each point of time only one alert can be displayed. The alert can be discontinued and/or updated by another one. The destinations, where the alert should be displayed, are selected by the channel or the locations.
Note:
Alerts are always displayed in the full screen mode and they have the highest priority – without any exceptions. Moreover, they are displayed immediately and regardless of the ongoing presentation on the screen.
